Pelican Valley Care Center:
Part Time Housekeeping Assistant: We have an opportunity for a part time (20 hours/week) Housekeeping Assistant to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining our facility in a clean, sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Provides a pleasant living environment for residents and an organized, safe working environment for staff. No experience necessary, we will train! Starting wage is $10.75/hour.
Part Time Dining Assistant: We are looking for a part time Dining Assistant for our PM shift! This position works approximately 20 hours/week from 3:45pm-7:45pm. Dining Assistants are responsible for serving resident meals, responding to resident requests and maintaining a clean and safe environment. No experience necessary, we will train! Part Time PM (RN or LPN): We are looking for a part time nurse to join our team on PMs! RN starting wage after differential is $26.50 and LPN is $21.50. This position work 24 hours/week.
The RN/LPN is responsible for assessing and coordinating care needed for residents of an assigned station, nursing staff, and overall operation of their assigned station to ensure quality care. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for making doctor appointments as needed, prepare charts prior to the visits, have current information regarding resident condition, and accompany physician on rounds to provide updates.
Responsible for new admissions and hospital returns, ensuring care plans are updated, implemented, and maintained.
Monitors weight loss and nutrition of residents and report those nutritionally at risk to Dietary and follow through with recommendations.
Responsible for the orientation and work assignment of nursing personnel in their unit in order to ensure the nursing needs of their station.
Observes resident, records significant conditions, vital signs and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of any change in resident’s condition, and updates charts to reflect this.
Initiates a resident education plan according to the individualized needs of the resident, as prescribed by the physician, including family instruction.
Supervises and assists with resident’s activities of daily living.
Assists in coordinating the activities of nursing service with those of other departments.
This position requires a person who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing as well as having obtained RN/LPN licensure.
NOC RN or LPN: We have an great opportunity for a temporary night nurse! RN starting wage after shift differential is $27 and LPN is $22. This is a part time position at 48 hours/pay period. Please call Cassie at 218-863-2991 ext 27736 with questions or apply online below!

PT/FT PM and PT NOC CNA: We are seeking part time or full time PM shift and part time night shift CNAs to join our team! Starting wage with shift differential is $16.50/hour for PMs and $17/hour for nights! This position includes every other weekend and every other holiday. Double pay on Holidays!
